FLOS — Architectural Lighting

A visually captivating blend of monotype art and lighting design, the 2014 Flos Architectural Lighting catalog showcases the expressive interplay of light and form.

This series made for Flos, the renowned Italian lighting company, resulted in a series of expressive ink drawings inspired by their iconic lighting designs. The illustrations serve as a visual exploration of the interplay between light, shadow, and form. By employing monotypes, the project highlights the artistic and expressive qualities of architectural lighting, emphasizing its potential beyond mere function. Under the art direction of Omar Sosa, the catalog gains an elevated aesthetic, blending fine art with industrial design.
